QBN, publishers of design news site Newstoday, are presenting what presumably will be the first of many QBN Sessions, one day multidisciplinary creative lectures.

Speakers include street artist Shepard Fairey of OBEY, design house :phunk studio, graphic designer Michael C. Place, and Oscar-winning visual effects company The Mill (pictured above).

Tickets are $240 each and include admission to the lecture, boxed gourmet lunch, the after-party and drinks, as well as open access to the Getty Museum for the day.
